Phase I Design Development

I. Pre Design

• Pre-Meeting Client Survey- determine the ideas, needs, and expectations of the customer for lighting and other integrated products (controls, telecommunications, etc)
• Customer Plan Review- working meeting to discuss options, including product demonstration at Idea Center.
• Establish Preliminary Design including a preliminary budget.

II. Design Development

• Take information of preliminary meetings to develop draft sketches- develop design concepts and highlight areas. (Coordinate/consult with Architect if involved)
• Finalize Product Select- working meeting to determine product, details, specifications

III. Final Documents

• Provide lighting and controls plans- Design Presentation
• Provide detailed budget of lighting equipment and controls

This service provided on a fee based on size a scope of work, with a maximum of 4 hours meeting time. Anything above is provided on an hourly rate.

Phase 2 Program Coordination and Construction Management

I. Construction and Product Distribution

• Provide detailed cost to proposal to general contractor or homeowner for purchase of lighting fixtures and controls
  • Meet with electrical contractor for coordination and review
• Provide jobsite advisement during key times of construction to insure proper lighting needs are met:
  • After Framing to review design changes
  • At beginning of rough electric- at product drop.
  • Periodic through development, as updates, modifications and refinements are made.
  • Pre-Trim out to Review.

II. Commissioning and Follow-up

• Final adjustments to lighting and scenes.
• Orient the owner to operation
• Post project evaluation
